What We Did:
The Brits and the Yanks have enjoyed a long, steamy love affair for centuries. Bloomingdales and IHeartRadio teamed up to celebrate that romance and honor the best of British Music, Fashion, and Culture. Together, they invited over 50 iconic British brands to create exclusive merchandise for Bloomies shoppers. To launch these British wonders, Bloomingdales asked Emile Sander, Rita Ora and Jake Bugg put on a dazzling show at the iHeartRadio theatre in NYC. And we were lucky enough to design that experience.
Why It Rocked:
This was our chance to pay homage to the British! We artistically arranged a giant Union Jack, an iconic red telephone booth and custom lighting made from oversized bowler hats and upside-down red brolleys (that’s British for umbrellas). The lights were each individually programmed and turned on and off to really set the vibe. 5 lucky winners were flown to NYC to attend the concerts and then spoiled rotten with an intimate backstage experience, complete with champagne, nibbles, a $500 Bloomies gift card and top notch Bloomingdales swag.
